Our campus includes:
History & Art Museum - Our museum shares Madison and Jefferson county's rich history. The building also houses the popular children's activity room, archives and museum shop as well as our Southern Indiana Folk School.
1895 Railroad Passenger Station Museum offers history and exhibits of early railroading in Indiana.
1918 Caboose totally restored to its original appearance down to the original icebox!
Hours:
10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
Saturdays - 10am to 3pm Mid April thru November
Closed Wednesdays
The center is closed during January & February for annual maintenance and exhibit updates.
Admission:
$10 for adults
Children 16 and younger
$1 off for veterans and active military as well as seniors over 55
Residents of Jefferson County, Indiana admission is $5
Jefferson County Historical Society members (and their guests) are admitted free.
